Hivenetic — Privacy Policy

Hivenetic ("we", "our") provides software for managing beehives and apiaries, including the Hivenetic
mobile application and web dashboard (the "Service"). This policy explains what information we collect,
how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and role, provided when an account
is created for you by your organization.
- Apiary data — information you enter about yards, hives, inspections, treatments,
harvests, tasks, and inventory.
- Location data — the app may use your device's location (including in the background,
if you allow it) to show nearby yards, attach coordinates to yards, and remind you about yard tasks
when you arrive on site. Location permission is optional and can be revoked in your device settings.
- Voice recordings — if you use voice features, your recordings are uploaded to our
servers to be transcribed and turned into inspection records. Voice features are optional.
- Device and usage data — push-notification tokens and basic technical logs needed to
operate the Service.
How we use information
We use the information above solely to provide and improve the Service: displaying and syncing your
apiary data, sending task and proximity notifications you enable, transcribing voice notes you record,
and keeping the Service secure. We do not sell your personal information and do not use it for
third-party advertising.
Sharing
Your data is shared only with members of your own organization according to their roles, and with the
infrastructure providers we use to run the Service (such as cloud hosting and speech-to-text processing),
which are bound to process it only on our behalf.
Security and retention
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored on secured servers. We keep your data
for as long as your organization uses the Service.
Your choices
- You can revoke location and microphone permissions at any time in your device settings.
- You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at
admin@hivenetic.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Request data deletion
To request deletion of the personal data associated with your Hivenetic account:
- Send an email to admin@hivenetic.com
with the subject "Data deletion request", from the email address your account is registered with.
- We will verify the request and delete your account data — profile details, voice recordings, and
personal identifiers — within 30 days.
- Operational records that belong to your organization (yards, inspections, harvests) are retained by
the organization that owns them; records of your personal identity are removed or anonymized.
Children
The Service is a professional tool intended for users 18 and older and is not directed at children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time; the current version will always be available at this address.
